Chant Birds
The Birds Chant:
This composition started with a recording from the streets of Chicago,
during the late winter of 2013.
I found an interesting situation in the chant of the birds as a memory element.
Perhaps it is the matter that as an immigrant, I feel this weight, the spectre of the roots.
Intention of the Void
Intention of the Void:
This composition is made from three recordings on a sunny day of winter, from different places in the same area by Chicago´s Lake Michigan.
This piece is modified and edited with the intention of giving a poetic sense to the noise.
In this piece I found the sense of the Intention of the Void, as a dynamic concept of creation and its relationship with life.
Frog's Mantra
Lullaby: Cradle of Mist and Moist
This composition is my personal lullaby for my dogs and other animal brothers and sisters that I have accompanied in their path of life and death. During my days in the Colombian mountains, I found the sense of life by running with dogs. With them I came into the cradle of mist and moss where we drank Mother Mountain´s sacred milk.
